Does nair make hair grow back as stubble?

Ok, so this is really embaressing, but i have hair on my butt. i never thought it was really a big deal until i recently started having sex with my boyfriend and now i'm afraid if we have sex doggy style he'll notice it and be turned off. i thought about using nair, but i don't wanna use nair down there if it's gonna grow back stubbly ...otherwise i won't have a problem. i tried waxing it, and it worked kinda except it made a mess, was hard to get off, REALLY hurt, was red for days, and i wasn't able to get everywhere. overall i just need to know....will nair make my butt stubbly or is it ok for me to use???
