Help with credit score?

Trying to repair credit and need a few tips. Once items on the report are disputed, what do I do with the ones that are left? I do not have large amounts of money to settle individual debts. If I consolidate my debts into one sum and make monthy payments will that make a big impression on my credit score? What is the best way to go about this?
